ABOUT katie

Katie Paul, a director & producer based in New York City, holds a BFA degree in film and television from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. As a dancer, Katie possesses an innate understanding of how to skillfully frame movement and meticulously synchronize it to the beat, a skill she's applied in music videos for major labels including Roc Nation, RCA, Hollywood Records, Island Records & Def Jam.

Her journey into the world of documentary filmmaking began as an intern under the mentorship of director Alexandra Dean at Reframed Pictures, where she contributed to the acclaimed feature documentary on Netflix "Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story." It was during this formative experience that Katie discovered her passion for crafting narratives centered around resilient women, often misunderstood by society.

Her recent projects include the role of Associate Producer for the Hulu feature documentary, "Diane von Furstenburg: Woman in Charge." She has also worked as an Associate Producer for the YouTube Originals documentary "This Is Paris," and as a Field Producer for the Peacock documentary "Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies."
